In January 2003, OurStory Scotland and 7:84 Theatre Company Scotland agreed to collaborate on an outreach project culminating in a performance at Glasgay, Scotland's annual celebration of queer culture. In this agreement are the origins of seXshunned. We started rehearsals in February 2003. The script was built up from the writings of the participants with the help of dramaturg Derek Jackman, who also wrote publicity for the production. We are indebted to so many creative people on this project, and we list some of them in the credits. The very successful show was presented at the Arches for two nights in November 2004, and the second night was sold-out. At the final dress rehearsal, Ian Strang took pictures for our archive, and images and extracts are available here:
